Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native who was born in low standards in September 16th, 1958. Her mother worked as teacher at a local school and was an unremarkable actor, while her father was a salesman for cars. Jennifer was the second child in her family and she often accompanied her mother who worked as a school teacher, to theater performances. Jennifer found her performance amazing. Jennifer's mother and father split at the age five. Jennifer lived the majority of her childhood in British Columbia when her mother moved there with the four kids. Jennifer did not attend school however, as a child she was extremely artistic. Because of her experience at Canada's public schools Jennifer came under the sway of a lot of bullying. In high school her passion for theatre began to fade. To combat this, her mom helped her participate as an extra in various productions. Her mother encouraged her entire family to get involved in the art of making. Then she began acting.
